The hub is a core component of a wind turbine, primarily responsible for three key functions:
1. Fixed Connection – Securely connects all blades to ensure synchronized and stable rotation.
2. Energy Transmission – Converts wind energy captured by the blades into mechanical energy, driving the generator via the main shaft to produce electricity.
3. Load Bearing & Regulation – Bears all loads from the blades and works with the control system to adjust blade pitch angles, optimizing power generation efficiency and protecting the turbine from overload in strong winds.
